Stumbled accross these today, and I can only really stare in amazement. Those shapes, those colours.
I've been focusing on collections and how they define our identities in thesis prep, so I thought it would be fitting to start documenting some of my personal collections.
I've picked these up along the way, and they aren't in the best of condition - but I love them just the same. The bowl has a small split, and the ice bucket is missing some bits. Someone drilled a hole through the handle of the sauce pot, and the enamel isn't in the best shape on either piece.
The last two have gone on to different homes through our Etsy store. It was sad to part with them, but I suppose we can't keep everything.
I'm Victoria, and I've finally received the kick in the pants I've needed to start a proper blog. It's been something that I've been meaning to do for ages, and let me tell you, it's about time. After one failed attempt at creating a Wordpress, I've settled down over here for awhile. You can also find me on Tumblr and Etsy.
I'm currently enrolled in the Fibre program at the Ontario College of Art and Design. This semester I'm taking a concept development class with Lynne Heller, and I need to journal about my progress over the course of the semester - and I'm hoping that this blog will provide a perfect space to do just that.
See you soon!
